A National Stationery Week Giveaway
This week is National Stationery Week, a week all about the wonder that is beautiful and useful stationery and I have a giveaway for you to celebrate!
I have had a life-long obsession with stationery, when I was younger I used to write really long and dramatic diary entries, that my two older sisters would then read out loud to each other and laugh at – sibling love and all that ha! I’ve also always doodled on paper despite not being that great at drawing really.
Although, I was pretty proud of this tree that I drew with crayons last year. The brand in the image is someone I was working with at the time, but they haven’t asked em to post about it here – full disclosure and all that jazz. If I ever find some free time again, I really want to try more crafts and work on improving my drawing too.

The boys and I were messing around drawing with some Crayola crayons this week and I drew this tree. Not exactly artist quality, but actually the best drawing that I have ever done AND more importantly I loved doing it. It was pretty relaxing too and fun messing around with them whilst we drew, crayons definitely aren't just for children and the calming effect of drawing isn't just for adults. There's a bonus to getting the kids drawing with Crayola at the moment as well, as they have a fab competition running. If you would like to try to #win the @crayola_uk #competition for some Crayola Back To School Kit goodies, all you need to do is upload of photo on your Instagram of your child's creations made using Crayola products and use the hashtag #crayolagocreate on your post! Comp closes 9th September 2018. Stevie x #crayolabacktoschool #crayolauk #ad
I’ve also been a life-long list writer, so I have a slight obsession with notepads, to do list pads and beautiful pens. I write lists for everything, partly because I have a brain like a sieve and I would forget everything otherwise, but mostly because my inner stationery geek likes doing it. I find it relaxing organising things like that and I have been known to write a list of lists that I need to write ha! Are you a list writer?
Anyway today’s competition giveaway prize is for an A4 drawing pad, a child-sized Bic pen and a 12 pack of Scentos scented colouring pencils. Either for you like me, to have a go at drawing again, or to help feed the imaginations of a little person in your life. I have a box full of pictures that my boys drew when they were smaller, which are some of my most treasured possessions.
To enter to try to win the prize as detailed above, you will need to enter via the Gleam widget below. You can find my usual competition terms and conditions here – A Home In Cornwall’s Competition Terms and Conditions.
